New cutting-edge technology developed thanks to Supply Chain North East

Client Inspection Services (C.I.S) offer third party inspections surrounding industrial coatings, technical advice, surveying including air borne and underwater within the oil and gas industry operating all over the UK and continental.

After the directors, Julian Firth and David Daley contacted the Supply Chain North East team, the company have developed an innovative new product a remotely operated vehicle that can be operated by just one person, dive up to 1,000 feet underwater and produce 4k ultra high definition which is recorded in real time. Offering state of the art technology to their clients. Julian explains:

“The company began on this journey to make a difference within the industry. We recently relocated to a larger office, employed a new member of staff and with the help from the programme we have diversified by opening a new division from the technology developed.

“We are also soon to launch our truly unique approach to Asset Integrity Management (AIM) in the form of a web-based platform designed to support the industry with the tough challenges it currently faces.

The programme has received more than £3m of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund, which is part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
